Patient Monitoring Care Specialist, your role is absolutely essential in providing optimal patient care. In this role, you will possess the ability to efficiently monitor high-risk patients, empower them to enhance their self-care practices, and take decisive action whenever intervention is necessary.

Your everyday tasks are:


  • Monitor vitals and determine whether they are in or out of range.
  • Assess vitals and prioritize based on patient needs.
  • Call patients for verbal assessment and health teaching.
  • Escalate patients to supervisor or emergency services when indicated.
  • Maintain friendly and outgoing demeanor when speaking with patients.

Requirements:


Do you meet these requirements?

  • English C1+
  • NCLEX Test Approved
  • Formal education as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong verbal and communication skills in English.
  • In depth understanding of disease processes related to vital sign monitoring (hypertension, heart failure, CKD, asthma/COPD and obesity).
  • Indepth understanding of various medications related to disease processes.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Preferred: Clinical experience in inpatient settings
