    Brazoderechois seeking a Bilingual Senior Network Engineer (Tier 4) to join amajor company operating in Colombia and CostaRica.

    JobObjectives

    The Senior Network Engineer will handlesupport, platform, and product testing. Senior Engineers will actas lead engineers to all peers and take the lead on most platformmaintenance discussions or activities. This expert-level engineerhandles critical escalations from the NOC regarding customersupport issues or customer requests.

    MainFunctions

    • Assume ownership of trouble tickets in therepair ticket system.
    • Provide lead engineering-level support toSpectrotel users for issues involving VoIP services, routers,firewalls, and SD-WAN platforms.
    • Coordinate, perform, and follow up onmaintenance events on Spectrotel platforms.
    • Provide SME guidance on current and newtechnologies.
    • Performadvanced troubleshooting and repair actions on Spectrotel managedrouters and firewalls: CISCO, JUNIPER, FORTINET, MERAKI, and/orvarious other vendor equipment.
    • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairactions on SD-WAN services: VELOCLOUD, BIGLEAF, and FORTINETGW.
    • Perform advancedtroubleshooting and repair actions on various carrier portals: 8X8,COREDIAL, INTELEPEER, andBROADVIEW/WINDSTREAM.
    • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairactions on Internet Over Wireless services: BEC andCRADLEPOINT.
    • Providetechnical coaching and training to NOCtechnicians.
    • Providetechnical and logical feedback to NOC on troubleshooting stepstaken to ensure knowledge growth for NOCemployees.
    • Deep dive oncritical or chronic customer troubles that require the besttechnical support we can offer ourcustomers.
    • Providetechnical product testing to our product management team to ensurenew products are fully tested anddocumented.
    • Makecomplex requested changes to customer networks, firewalls, VPNs,etc.
    • Perform otherduties as instructed by SpectrotelManagement.
    • Lead peersin advanced troubleshooting and maintenanceactivities.
    • Handleprojects provided by management.
    • Flexible hours (available to work evenings,weekends, and be on call).
    • Occasional overtime is based on the departmentworkload.

    Skills andAbilities

    • Minimum 6 years' experience in anOperations support environment such as NOC, Engineering teams,etc.
    • Minimum 5-7years' experience with Fortinet and Merakihardware/software.
    • Minimum 4 years' experience inmonitoring software such as SolarWinds.
    • Expert working knowledge of the 7 layers ofthe OSI model.
    • Expertworking knowledge of Spectrotel managed routers and firewalls:CISCO, JUNIPER, FORTINET, MERAKI, and/or various other vendorequipment.
    • Expertworking knowledge of SD-WAN services: VELOCLOUD, BIGLEAF, andFORTINET GW.
    • Expertworking knowledge of data services, including but not limited toMPLS, VPN protocols, QoS, and Private LineConnections.
    • Advancedknowledge of ITSM and CRM platforms: SALESFORCE,REV.IO.
    • Advancedknowledge of cabling and network topologies.
    • Advanced knowledge of Fiber/DS3/DS1technologies.
    • Organizational skills and the ability toself-manage workload.
    • User-level knowledge of MicrosoftOffice.
    • Capable ofgenerating new ideas and continuous improvementefforts.
    • Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
    • Flexibility inscheduling.
    • Demonstration of a "customerfirst" attitude.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalentexperience.

    Multiple high-levelcertifications needed

    • CCNA or CCIE Ciscocertification
    • FortinetNSE 5 and Meraki 360 Certification
