  • The Senior Manager GBS Accounting, Taxes (Statutory Accounting) and FP&A will lead / manages Finance, Accounting and Tax activities needed for the countries such as GL accounting and reconciliation, budget submission and follow up, financial review, month and annual closing and reporting, indirect tax compliance and tax reporting activities, and Audit support.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage accounting procedures, ensure month and yearend balance correctly reflect the economicfinancial reality of the countries.
  • Oversee forecasting, planning and analysis (FP&A), inclusive of month / quarterend close, budget submissions, and forecasts.
  • Meets accounting financial standards by monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure processes are attached to the Global internal controls; ensure data and processes adherence to the Group's policies.
  • Ensure accounts reconciliations are in place.
  • Work together with the countries and other GBS areas for external and internal audits to provide the necessary information for to auditors and local tax authorities.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with the country teams in Latin America and North America.
  • Control and monitor the accounting and tax team to ensure monthly tax closing and reporting activities are performed.
  • Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner
  • Supervise creation of financial reports according to IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local GAAP
  • Provides training to workers in both orally and writing form on accounting systems, principles and practices
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience: +8 years hands on experience in end-to-end R2R, FP&A and Taxes in an international, multicultural, complex environment.
  • Having worked in a shared services (GBS) environment in a managerial role is essential.
  • Ability to get into transactional details but also understand the broader business context and root cause.
  • Strong delivery and problemsolving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business environments and requirements.
  • Networking skills to promote the area within key stakeholders.
  • Proactive and influential
  • Deep understanding on Closing and reporting.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP's
  • Handson experience of SAP FICO and other IT tools
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree
  • Languages: Advanced English and Spanish
