- Document and summarize the information obtained from phone calls, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in recording details and statements.
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materials based on the information gathered through phone interviews.
- Coordinate with clients and external parties to obtain necessary documents, records, and evidence to support legal cases.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of all phone conversations and information gathered, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys and other team members to provide updates on case-related information and to facilitate the smooth progression of legal matters.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential, with strong communication skills for conducting phone interviews and documenting information accurately.
- Previous experience in a legal environment or similar role is preferred, with a solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and Proficiency in document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications with the ability to manage and document information effectively.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also collaborating with legal team members to support case preparation and execution.
- Familiarity with legal document management, case file organization, and administrative support tasks within a legal setting.
- A degree or certification in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
