We set the standard for transportation and modern strengthen our business development department, we are looking for a Planning Engineer and Track Alignment for Structural Engineering for our office in Bogotá or Medellin. Responsibilities:
  • Planning of track systems, drainage systems and platforms as well as other traffic systems in the context of new construction, expansion or repair measures ranging from feasibility studies to project delivery phases
  • Contribute when calculating the planning services/preparation of offers in the development of conceptual traffic planning
  • Checking the planning results of third parties (internal and external services) with regard to costs, deadlines and quality.
  • Generate 2D and 3D constructs by using suitable software.
    • Your profile:
  • Completed university education as a civil engineer or master ́s degree in infrastructure planning, transportation systems or similar.
  • 0 to 5 years of professional experience in planning infrastructure (mainly railway and/or street) systems, especially in stations, platforms noise barriers, track systems, drainage bridges
  • Solid knowledge of planning infrastructure system facilities from preliminary design to detailed design
  • Well-founded IT knowledge ( Office programs, AutoCAD, Revit, ProVI).
  • Interdisciplinary understanding and knowledge of the interrelationships between individual planning in infrastructure projects
  • Strong ability to work in a team
  • Flexibility, mobility, resilience
  • Own initiative and very good self-management
  • Previous experience in the infrastructure sector (mainly railway and/or street) will be considered as an asset
  • Ability to deliver the project in good quality and agree on a budget to committed deadlines
  • Fluency in Spanish and in English, German will be considered a strong asset
  • Willing to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis
