- Key member of the LatAm regional team, reporting to Senior Underwriters, responsible for pricing and technical underwriting analysis using AXA XL's tools to assess expected profitability. Handling individual treaties/LoBs and territories within Latin America.
- Reviewing technical proposals, providing guidance to underwriter assistants on pricing strategies, and ensuring understanding of underwriting systems and tools.
- Suggesting appropriate underwriting actions in line with internal guidelines, preparing documentation for underwriting committees regularly.
- Driving long-term profitable growth and diversification of assigned territories/clients.
- Reliable team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Capable of collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, actuarial, economics, statistics, or related fields.
- Previous experience as a reinsurance underwriter/broker with some exposure to insurance/reinsurance technical analysis.
- Ability to make independent decisions, handle high workloads efficiently, and act proactively.
- Fluency in English.
