    As part of the continued growth and innovation of our Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change service area, ERM has an opportunity for an experienced leader to join our global consulting firm as a Principal Consultant in Colombia and become a true owner and shareholder in a business with Sustainability at its heart.

    Who you'll work with

    You will be based in our Colombia office as part of ERM's Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change Northern LAC (Colombia, Guyana, Mexico) team.

    Corporate Sustainability & Climate change is a team of management consultants focused on helping companies to create long-term value by managing the opportunities and mitigate the risks posed by low carbon economy transition and other sustainability issues.

    Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change is a service with a unique blend of strategic, operational, data & analytics and technical expertise and knowledge. The team works across all financial and corporate sectors, including Mergers & Acquisitions. At ERM, regardless of the sector in which you work, you will get the opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams and in different business environments.

    What you'll do

  • Work in a fast growing and entrepreneurial team of consultants.
  • Support client projects, business development and developing knowledge and assets within the field of sustainability and low carbon economy transition.
  • Help clients across the financial and corporate sectors solving challenges in the field of, but not limited to, ESG, sustainability strategy development and execution, sustainability ambition and target setting, sustainable finance, low carbon economy transition, climate change, performance and impact measurement and sustainability reporting.
  • Performance benchmarking, review/analyze corporate activities.
  • Provide recommendations to improve sustainability performance, develop trainings and tools to implement the recommendations, prepare client reports and presentations.
  • Support the team with developing client ready proposals, preparing sales pitches and other business activities to grow ERM's ESG, Corporate Sustainability, LCET & Climate Change service in the financial and corporate sector.
  • Provide your knowledge and insights to develop assets to support our clients with managing their business opportunities and risks associated with climate change and other sustainability issues.

    • You'll bring (experience and qualifications)

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in relevant corporate sustainability, sustainability & climate change management, sustainable finance and/or ESG data & analytics context.
  • Experience in strategy and/or management consulting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and report writing skills.
  • Excellent advisory and business development skills.
  • Master's or PhD degree in business, economics, finance, environmental science or similar is desirable.
  • Hands-on and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in an international collaborative team environment.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken/written).
  • Experience in LCET risks mitigation and other Sustainability issues.
