    Do you want to help or customers to adopt cutting edge cloud computing technology, solve the biggest of "big data" problems, work with Internet scale distributed systems, and see the impact of your work with happy and successful customers?


    Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth, business knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills.

    You will partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems.

    As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.

    You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers.

    The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect.

    Have a strong understanding of computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the computing industry. You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new skills.

    You will help identify areas of existing architectural collateral that are incorrect or need updating in order to ensure customers can create world-class solutions built on AWS.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Build a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem
    • Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS
    • Assist with training sessions for customers considering or already using AWS
    • Collaborate with experienced solutions architects to craft and share bestpractice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
    • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
    We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

    Bogota, COL | Colombia, COL

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
    • Technical degree desired; Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
    • Great communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both large and small audiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly; ability to think abstractly.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages and coding skills (C/C++/C#, Node.
    JS, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby). English fluent, written and verbal.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in technology/software sales, presales, or consulting
    • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
    • Experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
    • Experience with design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
    • Working knowledge of AWS services, such as Elastic Compute Cloud, Elastic Block Storage, and Simple Storage Service.
    • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
    • Experience with solutionselling methodologies.
    • AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate certifications desired.
    • Other public cloud provider's certifications are also welcome.
