    Finance Specialist - (BPO) (Bogota) (B2/C1)

    Job Summary:

    This position will work on managing daily accounting functions, financial closings, balance reconciliations, preparation and consolidation of financial statements, budgeting, and other company projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accrual and review of sales invoices, supplier invoices, and customer invoices
    • Accrual of refunds, petty cash, payroll, with their respective accounting vouchers
    • Preparation of accounting records documents
    • Tax preparation
    • Follow-up on electronic billing
    • Petty cash management
    • Seeking new ways to improve the effectiveness of general accounting operations
    • Assisting in the preparation and distribution of financial statements
    • Preparing financial statements and supporting schedules according to the monthly closing schedule
    • Responsible for account reconciliations, including cash, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
    • Maintaining constant and effective communication with external auditors and banks
    • Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget

    Required Skills:

    • Knowledge of cash flow and costs
    • Budget preparation and control
    • Financial analysis
    • Management and analysis of general accounting according to legal regulations and IFRS
    • Issuance of financial statements and income
    • Knowledge of recent tax reforms
    • Analysis of fiscal figures and tax settlement

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • Professional card or application filed with the Central Board of Accountants
    • At least three (3) years of experience in the position (preferably in the BPO sector)
    • High level of verbal and written communication
    • Organized and easily adaptable
    • Experience in a firm desirable
    • Intermediate level of English
    • Position based in Bogotá, not remote.
